Tax treatment of pensions : a comparative analysis

This article provides an overview of the main features of the domestic systems existing in the European Union and in some neighbouring countries. It covers the tax treatment of national pension schemes, occupational pension schemes and personal pension provisions, before giving a general view of the domestic solutions given to international issues.
