After giving a brief overview of some of the important principles governing tax audits and the legal proceedings which influence transfer pricing litigation, two recent landmark decisions of the Federal Tax Court concerning core issues of transfer pricing litigation are discussed and a fundamental insight into the court's view on such core issues is provided.
