The Commission of the European Communities recently submitted its fourth communication on the work of the EU Joint Transfer Pricing Forum and a related proposal for a revised Code of Conduct for the effective implementation of the Arbitration Convention. This fourth Communication reports on the work of the JTPF from March 2007 to March 2009, during which time the JTPF adopted two reports, one on penalties and transfer pricing, and one on the interpretation of some provisions of the Arbitration Convention. This article provides an overview of the issues dealt with in both reports.
