The controversial new government took over in spring 2023. So far, the tax plans of the new government are rather modest and focus on maintaining the current tax system and level of taxation. The parliamentary term usually lasts for four years but there are serious doubts concerning whether the government will last the full term. This note analyses the tax plans as published by the government after being appointed.
