The US APA programme is already in its second decade. In 2004, 65 cases have been completed across 20 industries. In this article the authors provide an overview of the current status of the APA programme, as well as an outline of the main findings so far of the investigations by the Senate Finance Committee. Finally, several recently proposed changes in the programme are discussed.
