This article describes the tax and legal benefits of migrating all or part of a company’s intellectual property (IP) to Singapore. In addition to describing the legal protection for IP, the authors analyse the tax features that make Singapore an attractive IP location as well as possible negative tax implications in the original IP hosting company’s jurisdiction.
