In March 2003 the OECD issued Part III of the Discussion Draft on global trading of financial instruments. This article describes the current status in Italy with respect to the main issues discussed in Discussion Draft Part III, also in light of the specific features of the Italian market and of the current position of the Italian tax authorities.
