This is an overview of VAT cases pending before the European Court of Justice and decided VAT cases which have been published in English in the weekly reports of the Court of Justice and/or the Official Journal between 1 September 1999 and 31 August 2000. Cases that are not directly related to VAT, such as cases on special consumption taxes, are not included.
