IBFD and Digital Cooperation Organisation (DCO) join forces and conclude a successful series of virtual trainings

IBFD Capacity Building & Tailored Services (CB&TS) in cooperation with the Digital Cooperation Organisation (DCO), concluded a successful series of virtual trainings that provided tax officials from different members of DCO including Morocco, Cyprus, Pakistan, Jordan, Oman and Saudi Arabia with the latest developments and trends in cross-border taxation of the digitalized economy.

The extensive programme consisted of three different modules rolled out from December 2023 to February 2024, including online exams. The programme design was developed by Bart Kosters and included the following trainings: 

  • First Training – International Tax Planning Relating to Digital
  • Second Training – The Impact of the BEPS Project
  • Third Training – Post-BEPS OECD Pillar One and Two and UN Developments

Key IBFD experts took part in developing the content and delivering the trainings namely, Aisha Aize Isa from IBFD CSAT/KC, and from CB&TS represented by Bart Kosters, Birhanu Tadesse, Carlos Gutiérrez and Hans Pijl. We also invited external experts Wendela van Agtmaal and Shee Boon Law to contribute to the sessions. 

We are looking forward to extending the cooperation in the near future for more trainings for all the member countries.
