Call for Abstracts: IBFD Academic Tax Conference 2027
We invite you to submit your abstracts for our fourth Academic Tax Conference (ATC), to be held in Amsterdam on 13 and 14 May 2027.
The ATC 2027 focuses on the theme “Legal Certainty and Taxation”. Legal certainty is featured in most legal systems and carries several complex ramifications in relation to taxation, raising profound theoretical and practical challenges. The 2027 ATC will explore the multifaceted dimensions of legal certainty, exploring its foundations, limitations and evolution over time, building on national experiences (informed, where relevant, by supranational law) but with a focus on the comparative legal dimension.
The abstracts that we receive will undergo a rigorous blind peer-review process by our editors. Selected candidates will be invited to present their draft papers at the conference, promoting active discussions and exchange of ideas with participants.
Following the conference, candidates will have the opportunity to finalize their papers and submit the final drafts for inclusion in the conference proceedings, which will be published by IBFD after a final review by the scientific editors.
