IBFD Dialogues at IFA Cape Town 2024
We are pleased to invite you to our IBFD Dialogues on International Taxation seminar, taking place during the 76th IFA Congress in Cape Town. The theme for this special event is 'The Role of the OECD and the UN in International Taxation'.
Description
The IBFD Dialogues on International Taxation seminar at IFA Cape Town will explore the role played by the OECD and the UN in building the current normative framework of international taxation, undoubtedly the two intergovernmental organisations (with a more-than-regional focus) that have mostly contributed to its current shape.
The dialogues between experienced international speakers will focus on selected technical issues and give concrete evidence on cross-border issues that require the development of a fair and equitable international tax framework.
The IBFD dialogues are, therefore, a perfect in-depth supplement to the IFA seminars for a full immersion into technical issues combined with an overall view of tax sovereignty in the era of global tax coordination.
