IBFD uses direct cookies from Adobe Analytics, which collects and provides IBFD with the IP address of every visitor. Users who log in to their accounts can also be identified by means of an e-mail address, IP address and/or client number. The data collected is hosted on a server based in the European Union and will not be shared by IBFD or Adobe Analytics with any competitors, organizations or individuals.
IBFD uses indirect cookies from Google Analytics and Optimizely. Google Analytics is used to collect data about visits to our website and IBFD has entered into a Data Processing Amendment with Google. The information that Google collects is anonymous (that is, the last four numbers of your IP address will be removed) and no other information will be shared with Google. Optimizely is used to test different versions of our web pages. Cookies placed by Optimizely are used to remember which test pages are already displayed so that you continue to see the same pages during subsequent visits. The information that Optimizely collects is also anonymous (that is, the last four numbers of your IP address will be removed) and no other information will be shared with Optimizely. Furthermore, data collected by IBFD is not used for any advertising purposes.
Blocking or deleting cookies
It is possible for the user to block or delete cookies by using the browser’s privacy preferences menu. For example, the user may choose not to accept certain types of cookies, to have the browser ask for consent before accepting a new cookie, or to block cookies altogether.
