Public-Private Partnerships and Tax Incentives Used in Asian Countries To Encourage Infrastructure Development

This article aims to stimulate discussion in countries using, or contemplating the use of, public-private partnerships (PPPs) for infrastructure development. It does this by outlining the features of a PPP and then takes a look at the wide range of infrastructure incentives found in Australia, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
