Séverine Baranger is the Counsellor to the Director’s Office at the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration (CTPA) at the OECD. She has more than 15 years of experience in international tax law. In 2018 and early 2019, she was seconded as a Policy Analyst to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), where she worked on emerging trends and risks in money-laundering and terrorist financing. From 2014 to 2018, she worked as a Policy Analyst within the OECD-hosted Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes. Before 2014, she worked for 5 years in practice as a tax adviser in international and Luxembourg tax law, as an instructor on International Tax and Tax Planning and as a Research Associate at IBFD.
Ms Baranger obtained her law degree at the University Paris XII, an LLM cum laude in International Business Law in Leiden in 2002 and an LLM cum laude in International Tax Law at the International Tax Center Leiden in 2007.
