Ruth Sebatindira is a commercial/corporate litigator and a tax lawyer in Uganda. She is the founding partner of Ligomarc Advocates, a Ugandan financial law firm based in Kampala. Ms Sebatindira’s 18 years’ vast experience in commercial and corporate dispute resolution covers the following areas: tax, lender enforcement actions, receiverships, company liquidations, shareholders, trademarks and drug regulation. Currently, much of her work is in tax advisory, intellectual property and alternative dispute resolution.
Ms Sebatindira is currently serving as President of the Uganda Law Society. Her other professional memberships include: the International Fiscal Association, the Netherlands, the International Bar Association, the United Kingdom, the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and the East Africa Law Society, Tanzania.
