Philip Mensah

Philip Jude Mensah is Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Board Secretariat and Legal Affairs, at the Ghana Revenue Authority. An expert in international trade law and international taxation, he qualified as a barrister in 1989 and has acquired vast experience as a legal practitioner.

Mr Mensah is also the representative for Ghana on the Steering Group of the OECD Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes. During his career, he has worked with organizations such as the Customs Excise and Preventive Service, Sierra Leone Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Ghana Institute of Chartered Accountants. Furthermore, he has worked with many notable agencies, including USAID, UNDP, Commonwealth Secretariat, WCO, West African Trade Hub, TIPCEE Project, Ministry of Trade and Industry, PricewaterhouseCoopers and ABT Consulting.
