Paul Boadu Asamoah is the Business Unit Tax Manager: West Africa for ABInBev, responsible for Ghana and Nigeria. Previously, Mr. Asamoah served as the tax and risk lead for Accra Brewery Limited, a subsidiary of ABInBev. In this role, he provided advice and support to country and regional management teams.
Mr. Asamoah has several years’ work experience in delivering professional services having worked with the PwC Ghana office as an assistant manager in the tax services line of service. He has also managed a number of high-profile and complex tax compliance and tax advisory engagements on direct and indirect taxes in relation to specific client transactions, including corporate and personal income tax planning. Mr. Asamoah has led teams to provide tax due diligence and tax health check services to multinational clients across various industries.
Mr. Asamoah holds an LLB from the GIMPA Law School in Ghana and a BSc (Admin) degree in accounting from the University of Ghana Business School. Mr. Asamoah is a chartered accountant (ACCA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.
