Nana Afua Okoh is the manager in charge of Taxation & Corporate Finance at Gold Fields in Ghana, looking after the Tarkwa & Damang mines.
Ms. Afua Okoh has several years of tax consulting experience having worked with PwC Ghana for several years as a senior manager in the tax line of service. In this position, she consulted for a wide variety of clients in all sectors of the Ghanaian economy, as well as for international clients involved in transactions in Ghana. Before that, Ms. Afua Okoh worked with KPMG in London and consulted for many top-tier banks and financial institutions in the City for almost 7 years.
Ms. Afua Okoh holds a BSc (Hons.) degree in business economics and a finance-related MSc from the University of Reading, the United Kingdom. Ms. Afua Okoh is a chartered accountant (ICA, Scotland) and has applied to join Ghana’s Chartered Institute of Taxation. She is also a member of the UN Subcommittee on Extractive Industries Taxation for Developing Countries.
