Mohammed Y. Jada
Mohammed Y. Jada has more than 19 years of experience in advising local clients, multinationals and state-owned enterprises. He has provided tax planning and implementation advice on both inbound and outbound cross-border transactions, M&A corporate acquisitions, due diligences/restructuring, exchange control and transfer pricing considerations, and has advised on efficient intermediary holding company regimes. He also advises and supports clients in tax dispute resolution with authorities and has experience in negotiating settlements with tax authorities in South Africa and in New Zealand. He is a member of the National Tax Committee of SAICA and was also a member of a Task Team appointed by the Minister of Science & Technology to review R&D tax incentives in South Africa. He has experience in advocating for policy enhancements to tax legislation with the South African National Treasury and has presented at the Special Committee of Finance (SCOF) tax draft bill hearings at Parliament.
