Manuel Tron is a specialized tax attorney with vast experience in international tax law. For over 30 years, he has provided legal consulting and planning services to international businesses from a tax perspective, as well as personal and family counselling related to wealth and estate planning, both in Mexico and internationally.
His practice primarily involves the designing of structures for cross-border investment, both from and into Mexico. He is regularly involved in designing strategies for the negotiation and resolution of tax disputes, both in Mexico and internationally, and assisting in tax litigation matters on a federal level.
Mr Tron is an Honorary President of the International Fiscal Association, after having been President of the Association for 4 years, and is recognized on the international legal scene as one of Mexico’s most renowned tax lawyers. He has taught extensively on subjects related to tax law at various universities in Mexico and all over the world, lectured on international tax issues and authored numerous articles in publications specialized in tax matters. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
Mr Tron is licensed to practice law in Mexico and is currently a member of different professional and academic associations, including (among others) the Mexican Bar Association, the Mexican Academy of Tax Law and the Brazilian Academy of Tax Law.
