Kennedy Onyonyi is the current Director of Institutional Development and Capacity Building at the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF), a position he has held for the last 2 years. Prior to joining ATAF, Mr Onyonyi was the Head of Marketing, Communication and International Relations at the Kenya Revenue Authority and previously worked as a broadcaster with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation where he established himself as a media personality. Mr Onyonyi also set up The East African Newspaper while working for the Nation Media Group and has served as the Chairman of the Public Relations Society of Kenya. He was among the founders of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management and, an ardent football lover, chaired the Nationwide Football League in Kenya. Mr Onyonyi holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Kent, the United Kingdom, a Post Graduate Diploma in PR from Kenyatta University, Kenya, and a B.Com in Marketing from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
