Dr. Katerina Perrou was a postdoctoral research fellow at IBFD, where she focused on Tax Treaty Issues. She graduated from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She holds an LLM in Public Law from the same university. She completed her PhD on “Taxpayer participation in tax treaty dispute resolution” at the IALS, University of London, UK under the supervision of Philip Baker. The research was published in 2014 as volume number 28 of the IBFD Doctoral Series.
Katerina is an assistant lecturer at the University of Athens Law School and a tax adviser in Athens, Greece, with extensive experience on tax issues, both at domestic as well as at European and international tax law. She has served as an advisor to the Secretary General of Public Revenue in Greece, head of the Greek Tax Administration. She has published numerous articles in professional journals and has lectured extensively on domestic and international tax law issues.
