Jochum Zutt has worked as a VAT adviser since February 2007 and has been part of KPMG Meijburg’s indirect tax team since February 2018. His specializations are VAT, real estate transfer tax and insurance premium tax.
He is part of the financial services team but is also highly experienced in dealing with multinationals outside this area of expertise. Mr Zutt has spent two years on secondment in the United Kingdom.
Mr Zutt has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Tax Law and a bachelor’s degree in Dutch Law, all from the University of Amsterdam. He has also completed a post-master’s course in European Fiscal Studies at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, for which his thesis was awarded first place – thesis of the year. Furthermore, he is the author of a number of articles on indirect taxation and has provided training courses to clients in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
