Jaap Reyneveld is a partner with KPMG Meijburg & Co in Amsterdam and a member of the Dutch and KPMG Global Transfer Pricing Services (GTPS) practice. Mr Reyneveld has conducted numerous transfer pricing and TESCM studies, developing transfer pricing strategies and providing documentation for multinational enterprises operating in the Netherlands.
He has assisted many multinational clients in handling Dutch tax authorities’ transfer pricing enquiries and obtaining competent authority/arbitration relief. Mr Reyneveld has extensive experience in completing advance pricing agreements with the Dutch tax authorities. In addition, he has conducted tax valuations, both with respect to enterprises and to intellectual property. The industries in which he has specific experience include financial services, ENR/Oil&Gas, fashion, automotive, and logistics.
Prior to joining KPMG, Mr Reyneveld was engaged with the Dutch tax authorities in various functions for eight years. He worked as an auditor at the Tax Department of Large Enterprises in The Hague for four years. After that, he was assigned as a team leader for two years at the Auditing Department of the Tax Revenue of the Netherlands Antilles in Curaçao. During his last year with the Dutch tax authorities he worked for the Department of Large Enterprises in Amsterdam. He was engaged in audit assignments regarding multinational enterprises, including transfer pricing audits. In addition, he was account manager for several multinational enterprises.
Mr Reyneveld holds an MA in Economics and a post-academic degree in Accountancy. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB) and of the Royal Dutch Institute of Registered Accountants (NBA). Mr Reyneveld lectures on financial transactions and transfer pricing at IBFD and on transfer pricing and the innovation box at NOB. He regularly publishes on transfer pricing topics in both national and international professional magazines.
