Guillermo Teijeiro is a founding member of Teijeiro & Ballone, a Buenos Aires-based tax law firm. He teaches International Taxation at the Argentine Catholic University and the Austral University in Buenos Aires and is a member of the advisory board of the master program in Taxation of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Buenos Aires.
Mr Teijeiro is a prolific author of articles and books in English and Spanish for a wide variety of legal and tax publishers, and is a regular contributor to Bloomberg BNA’s Tax Management International Forum and VAT Navigator, Kluwer International Tax blog, as well as a co-author of the latest edition of Bloomberg BNA’s Business Operations in Argentina (7000-second).
He has lectured extensively on Corporate and International Tax Law with various schools and professional organizations in the United States, Mexico, Spain and Argentina and has been a speaker on tax matters at numerous congresses and conferences. He has also been actively involved in several professional organizations, and is currently a member of IFA General Council and President of IFA Latin America.
Mr Teijeiro has an LLB from La Plata University, Argentina, and an LLM from Harvard University. He was trained with the International Tax Group headed by H. David Rosenbloom in Caplin & Drysdale, Chartered, and was an HLS Visiting Scholar (International Tax Program and Harvard Tax Fund Joint Fellowship).
