Diana Calderón Manrique is a Senior Associate in the Latin America Knowledge Group at IBFD in Amsterdam, where she is a country specialist for a set of Latin American countries. She is also the editor of IBFD’s BEPS Country Monitor, regularly participates in cross-border taxation research projects and client requests, and teaches at IBFD International Tax Courses. She has also participated in several international tax assignments, including a project on assessing the priorities, challenges and needs for developing countries in implementing OECD BEPS recommendations.
Before joining IBFD in 2015, Ms Calderón worked as an associate in an international law firm’s tax practice in Caracas, Venezuela, providing tax advice and litigation services to multinational clients on a wide range of domestic and international tax matters, particularly concerning the Venezuelan oil and gas and energy sectors.
Ms Calderón obtained her law degree at UCAB University in Venezuela and an advanced master’s degree in International Taxation (LLM) at the International Tax Center, Leiden University, the Netherlands.
