Daniel Ngumy is a Partner at Anjarwalla & Khanna (A&K) and heads the firm’s Tax Department. He specializes in regional and international tax law, and has experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate and commercial legal work.
Mr. Ngumy provides ongoing tax advice on matters affecting clients across various industries, including the banking, insurance, finance, agricultural, power and infrastructure industries. He has also advised on a variety of due diligence exercises in various debt and equity capital market transactions and acquisitions. Mr.
Ngumy holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Laws degree from the University of London, and is admitted to practice law in Kenya. He is also a certified public accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. Mr.
Ngumy was ranked by Chambers Global 2016 as a “notable practitioner” in the Corporate and Commercial category. Mr. Ngumy has over 10 years’ experience in tax, having worked for PwC, KPMG and A&K, a leading corporate law firm in Kenya, during this period.
