Mr. Ngumy provides ongoing tax advice on matters affecting clients across various industries, including the banking, insurance, finance, agricultural, power and infrastructure industries. He has also advised on a variety of due diligence exercises in various debt and equity capital market transactions and acquisitions. Mr.
Ngumy holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Laws degree from the University of London, and is admitted to practice law in Kenya. He is also a certified public accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. Mr.
Ngumy was ranked by Chambers Global 2016 as a “notable practitioner” in the Corporate and Commercial category. Mr. Ngumy has over 10 years’ experience in tax, having worked for PwC, KPMG and A&K, a leading corporate law firm in Kenya, during this period.
