Cynthia Adoua is the manager of PwC's Tax and Legal team and has over 12 years of professional experience.
Ms Adoua has taken part in numerous cross-border projects that have allowed her to work for various multinational companies around the world and operating in various sectors in the Republic of Congo. Her practice focuses on the tax and legal aspects of activities by oil & gas companies (e.g. analyses of international agreements such as charter conventions, PSCs, JOAs) and assisting oil & gas companies during tax audits, but also on MNCs’ acquisitions and CEMAC foreign exchange issues.
Before joining PwC, she worked for a competitor firm in Luxembourg, as member of the International Corporate Tax and Real Estate department, where, in 5 years, she gained extensive experience in the international tax aspects of MNCs’ and real estate funds transactions, structuring real estate investments vehicles.
During her successful African and European career, she has gained professional experience in a wide range of international projects in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
Ms. Adoua is a visiting professor at the Emlyon Business School in the campus of Lyon and also in the campus of Casablanca.
Ms. Adoua graduated with a Master’s in Business Law from the University of Orléans in France. She also graduated with an Executive Master from the Emlyon Business School, majoring in International Tax. She passed the Luxembourg Bar courses (CCDL) and also graduated with the Diploma of Luxembourg Tax Council from the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and Accounting Company.
