Babatunde Oladapo is a Chartered tax practitioner, with over 20 years’ experience as a tax administrator at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). His career has encompassed dealing with field office tax operations, taxpayers’ relationship management and the development of the corporate communications function of the Nigerian national tax authority.
He is the pioneer Executive Secretary of the West African Tax Administration Forum (WATAF), where he oversees the day- to-day administration of the Forum’s secretariat operations. Under his watch, the WATAF has grown into a body whose voice is listened to at international fora on matters relating to tax administration in West Africa.
Aside from other interests, he is a consummate public speaker and a lover of the outdoors whose professional calling straddles the fields of public relations, journalism, personnel management and recently, humanitarian and refugees studies.
