India - Allocation of Advertising Expense: The LG India Case

A recent ruling of the Delhi Income Tax Appellate Tribunal upheld the taxpayer’s allocation of cricket sponsorship (advertising) expense as arm’s length. The author considers the arguments asserted by both sides in this case, as well as the Tribunal’s ruling.
