IBFD at IFA in Kyoto

We would like to welcome you to our stand at the 61st Congress of the International Fiscal Association. IBFD will be in Kyoto from 30 September to 5 October. We hope that you will visit our stand and enjoy the activities we have planned for you. This year we are offering a presentation by our tax experts on the topic of Transfer Pricing, presentations by our Asia-Pacific team on our detailed Asia-Pacific databases and global online resources, as well as demonstrations of the new features integrated into IBFD’s online publications.

At the stand you will also have the opportunity to meet with IBFD tax experts, editors, authors and publishers. It is of great value and importance to us to invite you as a colleague and fellow tax practitioner to our stand, as we believe that building relations is crucial in order to share knowledge.

Throughout the IFA Congress, daily updates of the panel discussions will be published on the IBFD website. This service is free of charge and is available within the Tax News Service.

Millward Brown Survey
Online survey - Searching tax information and use of tax information

IBFD is focused on publishing international tax information that serves the needs of tax practitioners. To achieve this goal, continuous market research is required. We therefore work closely with Millward Brown to survey the manner in which tax practitioners search for international tax information and how they use it in their daily practice.

As part of IBFD's ongoing market research, we will shortly be asking for your opinion. Your input would be appreciated and we look forward forward to hearing from you.

Investment derivatives, such as convertible bonds, include an initial investment and a derivative (an option) to buy or sell or to participate in the value movements of some underlying property. The principal focus of this study is on three universal tax issues, namely valuation, timing and the taxation of unrealized gains.
