New search features for IBFD online publications
Very soon subscribers to our online publications will benefit from the addition of extra search functionality along with visual enhancements. The search features are complementary to Content Search, our intelligent online search function. During March the improvements will gradually be released online. For example, in Tax Treaties Database an extra feature ‘search on Treaty News’ will be included. We are confident that the clearer format and the expanded and simplified search features will help you find exactly what you need.

New version of the consolidated text of the EU VAT legislation available
In January this year the recast of the Sixth VAT Directive has been released by the European Union. IBFD has made a user-friendly two-column version of the EU VAT legislation. This version contains in the left column the provisions of Directive 2006/112 in consecutive order and in the right column the corresponding provisions of the old Sixth VAT Directive. Subscribers to the International VAT Monitor online can access the new version here.

IBFD is gradually introducing two levels of detail in its online publications with regional coverage. The two levels are: Country Surveys: rates and summaries of the tax system. Country Analyses: in-depth descriptions of the tax system. These two levels are clearly indicated in the table of contents. The more in-depth descriptions (Country Analyses) are available for those countries that are considered to have the most practical relevance from the perspective of international taxation and cross-border transactions. The review date of the two levels can differ. Please check the review date in the Latest Information to ensure that you are looking at the most up-to-date information.View Screenshot Published: Income from International Private Employment
