Konstantin Lozev is a Research Associate in the IBFD European Knowledge Group. He previously worked as a senior expert in EU tax policy for the Ministry of Finance in Bulgaria, as a delegate to the Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base working group, and for the Commission’s Working Party IV – Direct taxation. Before joining IBFD, Mr Lozev was posted at the Commission DG TAXUD for five months, where he made a substantial contribution to a Commission report on the structures of tax systems in the European Union. He obtained a master’s degree in Finance and Banking
at the University of Sofia, St Kliment Ohridski, Bulgaria. In addition, he has a BA in International Business from Plovdiv University, Bulgaria.
