Publishing in IBFD's Online Products
Global online coverage
IBFD's Online Products are comprised of comparative and practical publications covering both topical issues
(e.g. holding regimes, transfer pricing, permanent establishments, trusts, intellectual property taxation) as well as country descriptions split by region (e.g. Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, North America).
Some online products are also available in print, but the online portfolio is in greater demand.
Serving the customers needs for qualitative, practical and timely tax information IBFD relies on an extensive network of authors and correspondents to contribute to its online products.
Tasks of IBFD correspondents
The essential task of an IBFD correspondent is to act as the main source of information on tax and social security developments in the country concerned (including treaties related to those areas) as well as investment legislation. He or she should also answer questions and queries put forth by IBFD’s research staff. The information supplied will be used to update our products, as well as to draft news items for our daily Tax News Service (TNS) and research assignments involving the country.
Tasks of IBFD authors
The essential task of an IBFD author is to contribute to comparative online products covering both topical issues as well as countries in specific regions. The author is responsible for preparing the original chapter in accordance with a common outline, and for any subsequent updates to that chapter. In some cases, the author will only be responsible for updating the chapter based on an existing chapter.
Application process
If you are interested in acting as an author or correspondent for IBFD's Online Products, please send your details, including a detailed CV, to the IBFD's Knowledge Center.
