New IBFD Library Web Catalogue launchedNov-17-2011
After months of hard work the new IBFD Library Web Catalogue was launched earlier this month. The new interface offers improved search functionality, that allows easy, advanced browsing through a vast amount of publications, courses and news.
The main novelties are:
- “Hot Topics” section: provides instant access to library materials, courses as well as interesting information from other suppliers according to topic (e.g. VAT, Tax Planning or Transfer Pricing).
- Faceted search: narrow your search results to a particular facet of information such as author, format, publication date or keyword. You can even de-select options within facets you don’t want to include in search results.
- Fuzzy logic: provides relevant search results, even for unclear, incomplete or misspelled queries.
- URL-based searching: allows you to save URLs of searches to review results later.
