Note that the tables, news and journal abstracts in IBFD Mobile Tax Facts do not hyperlink to related information, such as a relevant tax treaty, a detailed country chapter, etc. This more detailed information is only available on the IBFD Tax Research Platform.

If you have registered on www.ibfd.org, or subscribe to content available on the IBFD Tax Research Platform, you can use the same login and password as when accessing your other content.

If you specifically subscribed to IBFD Mobile Tax Facts, you should have received a confirmation email with your login and password after payment was received.

If you have forgotten your login and password, you can request a new password clicking on the password request link available on the logon page. Please note that the new password will be sent to the email address registered with IBFD (your login).You must therefore ensure you can access this email address from your mobile.

Yes. When trying to access the Tax Research Platform as you usually do on a computer, you will be prompted whether you wish to access IBFD Mobile Tax Facts, or IBFD Tax Research Platform.

If you have chosen IBFD Mobile Tax Facts and wish to return to IBFD Tax Research Platform, you can do so by clicking on the IBFD link at the bottom of the interface, which redirects you to www.ibfd.org, from which you can access the IBFD Tax Research Platform.

It depends on the kind of information you want to search.

• News is presented chronologically by default. It can be searched by keyword, country, region, international organization, special topic and practice area.
• Tables and key features can be searched by country.
• Journal abstracts are presented in chronological order (by online publication date). The search menu allows to search per journal, country, region, international organization, practice area and special topic.
• The glossary allows to search by full-term or by using a wildcard, i.e., the asterisk is placed instead of one or more characters that are part of the term. Example: "abu*" leads to the following results: abuse of law, treaty abuse, abuse of legal form. Synonyms and translations are displayed for each word.
• Optimized for the following mobile phone operating systems: iPhone iOS, BlackBerry, Google Android, Windows Mobile and Symbian.
• Clicking on the IBFD logo on the top left-hand side takes you back to the Mobile Tax Facts home page.
