By car
From the A10 (ring road encircling Amsterdam) take exit S111, Amstel Business Park. If travelling from the Almere, Amersfoort direction: turn left at the traffic lights. If travelling from the Utrecht, Den Haag direction: turn left, proceed over the flyover and go straight ahead at the traffic lights.
Then: turn right at the next set of traffic lights and at the roundabout take the first street on your right. After the street bends 90° to the left, continue straight ahead until you see the IBFD building at the end of the street on your right.
By metro
From Amsterdam Central Station take metro No. 54 (direction Gein). Get off at Duivendrecht train/metro station. The ride takes approximately 15 minutes. From here you can take the IBFD Shuttle bus (see below).
By train
Both from Schiphol Airport and from Amsterdam Central Station, there are regular trains to Duivendrecht station. Between Schiphol Airport and Duivendrecht station, there are about four trains per hour and the ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at Duivendrecht train/metro station. From here you can take the IBFD Shuttle bus (see below).
IBFD Shuttle bus (free of charge)
The shuttle bus runs between Duivendrecht station and IBFD from:
- 8:00 - 9:15 and 17:00 - 18:00
- 8:00 - 9:15 and 17:00 - 18:45 (1 November - 30 April)
Walk through the train station via platform 1 or 4 (lower section, main hall) to the exit (uitgang) “Rijksstraatweg” (down the side of the Albert Heijn shop). Walk to the end of the platform and down the stairs. There is a church on your left hand side. The IBFD shuttle bus (white and with the IBFD logo on the door) leaves approximately every 5-10 minutes from the little roundabout.
By foot
From Duivendrecht station (walking distance 20 minutes): Take the Rijksstraatweg exit (see above). Follow the road for about 15 minutes. Pass under the motorways and on your left side you will see the IBFD building.
